Eligibility
Neuroprep participants must be citizens or noncitizen nationals of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence at the time of appointment. Additionally, participants must have a baccalaureate degree in a biomedically relevant science from an accredited college or university awarded no more than 36 months prior to when they start the Neuroprep program, and may not be currently enrolled in a post-graduate degree-granting program. The 3-year eligibility limit may be extended by parental, medical, or other well-justified leave for personal or family situations. It may also be extended by national service (Peace Corps, or service in the National Guard or Armed Forces Reserves).
WashU Neuroprep is focused on training individuals from undergraduate institutions that offer limited research opportunities.
All individuals selected as participants will apply to neuroscience doctoral degree programs (PhD) during the research education program.
