Anjali Crosby, BS

Neuroprep Scholar

Anjali is a recent graduate of Rhodes College with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in health equity. Anjali feels that her minor in health equity has allowed her to approach neuroscience research uniquely. At Rhodes, Anjali had the opportunity to participate in Developmental Neuroscience research with Dr. Tanushree Pandit, where the lab examined signaling mechanisms involved in neural fate patterning and neural circuit formation during embryonic development. She also had the opportunity to participate in research in the Center for Disease Control’s Entomology Branch, where she investigated the molecular mechanisms that cause insecticide resistance in mosquito vectors of human disease. Anjali is interested in reducing health disparities through neuroscience research and is hoping that the Neuroprep program will help her narrow down her research goals. In her free time, Anjali likes to try new foods, spend time with friends and family, and knit.
